In the field of health, priority is given to the recruitment of graduates for the nursing position. The West Bengal University of Health Sciences has published several regulations for admission to the Master's in Science (M.Sc) in Nursing program.
It has been instructed in the guidelines that all registered nurses who have graduated will have the opportunity to enroll in the mentioned course. They need to submit their applications online through the university's portal, providing all necessary information.
Applicants aiming for admission to the postgraduate nursing degree course must pass the West Bengal Post Graduate Nursing Admission Test (WBPGNAT) examination. Based on the results of that exam, those who pass will have the opportunity to enroll in the mentioned program. The course duration for the postgraduate section will be a total of two years. Those interested can only secure admission to authorized educational institutions of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences for this particular course.
Apart from this, graduates can also enroll in another course titled Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. However, for this field, clearing the West Bengal Nursing Admission Test (WBANAT) examination is necessary to pursue this course. This course will also be completed within two years.
From December 23rd to January 22nd, 2024, the portal will remain open for online applications. Students can directly visit the websites of the approved educational institutions of the West Bengal University of Health Sciences to register their names. However, if any candidate fails to register their name within the stipulated time, they will have the opportunity to submit their application until March 22nd, 2024.
